A roll-off dumpster is the open-top steel container that rolls off the back of our truck onto your driveway, lot or job site, and it is the core of what Buffalo Dumpster Co. does. We run five sizes, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yards, from our yard at 747 Walden Avenue, and deliver across the City of Buffalo and the surrounding towns.

Every rental is the same simple deal: one flat price that includes delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance, quoted before we book it. No fuel surcharges, no environmental fees added afterward.

Call us with the address, what you are throwing out and roughly how much. We recommend a size, quote a flat price and book a delivery date, usually the same or next day. The driver rolls the container off exactly where you asked, with boards under it if you want the surface protected. You fill it at your own pace, keeping the load level with the top rail. When you are done you call, and we haul it away and dispose of it at a permitted facility.

Need it longer, or need a second container? Just call. Contractors on long jobs set up scheduled swaps so the box is never full.

Volume decides the size for light material: junk, furniture, drywall, wood. Weight decides it for heavy material: concrete, brick, dirt, roofing shingles, plaster. A 40-yard box full of concrete cannot legally leave your driveway on a truck, which is why heavy loads go in a 10 or 15-yard. On a private driveway or lot there is no permit. In the City of Buffalo a container on the street, sidewalk or any public place requires a permit under City Code § 413-4(C), issued by the DPW Traffic Division, and the container must be covered when not being loaded. The suburbs vary: Lancaster village permits every dumpster, Depew has a temporary-dumpster permit, and most other towns publish no rule for private property.
